      Weekly Mass Petitions
      Lebanon Correctional Institution Inmates

Dear God, we ask that you hear our petitions today and trust that you grant us what we need:
      • Grant healing for and forgiveness from the victims of our crimes and their loved ones,
           “we pray to the Lord”
      • Forgive us of our sins and protect us from every evil and danger in our incarceration
      • Help us to repair damaged relationships and protect our families in our absence
      • Heal us from injury, sickness, mental illness, addiction, loneliness and fear
      • Bless and strengthen the medical staff, Chaplains, and volunteers who care for us
      • Protect the security staff and Administration from harm and give them kindness and compassion
      • Lead us to a better way of Life in You and give us Faith and Hope for our futures
      • Most of all, dear God, lead us and our families to a close relationship with you that we may remain      in Your Peace and Love for the rest of our lives and live in eternal joy with You forever

We ask this in the name of your beloved son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

    Pen Pals
    • The pen pal team expands our community of faith by actively witnessing to the mercy offered by the gospel, providing emotional and spiritual support to imprisoned individuals and promoting dignity, hope, and healing while reflecting Christ’s love. Volunteers are paired with an imprisoned brother or sister in Christ to connect through correspondence, offering joy, encouragement, and hope. In doing so, they help nurture faith on each person’s journey and ease some of the pain of loneliness in their isolation.

All correspondence is sent and received via the St. Andrew Parish Office.

    Family Support
    • The family support team expands our community of faith by actively witnessing to the mercy offered by the gospel, extending the love and compassion of Christ to families affected by incarceration, and accompanying those navigating the challenges of having a loved one in prison. By fostering strong connections and providing practical assistance, volunteers help families strengthen their faith and resilience during difficult times by offering friendship on their faith journeys, helping them feel loved and supported, and celebrating their loved ones with their brothers and sisters in Christ, the Church.

    Addiction Recovery Support
    • The addiction recovery support team expands our community of faith by actively witnessing to the mercy offered by the gospel, recognizing and helping to educate the faith community about the complex interplay and high correlation between addiction and incarceration. By offering spiritual and emotional support to affected individuals and families, and sharing information about available resources, volunteers help individuals and families strengthen their faith and resilience as they navigate the path to healing and restoration, accompanied by their brothers and sisters in Christ, the Church.

    • The Serenelli Project re-entry ministry expands our community of faith by offering various opportunities to actively witness the mercy of the gospel to returning citizens through prayer, support, and a range of projects, initiatives, and community teams. The Serenelli Project mission is:
