1949
Louis Edward Massie and Mildred Joan Merice, St. Veronica members, are the first parishioners married, however, they walk down the aisle of St. Thomas More Church.
St. Veronica Church is formally dedicated by the Most Rev. George Rehring, Auxiliary Bishop.
Rosemary Veronica Nieman, daughter of Joseph Nieman and Catherine Rohr, is the first person baptized at St. Veronica. The Rev. Francis J. Heider, pastor of St. Thomas More Church, Withamsville, conducts the baptism.

Mary Catherine Understein and Peter Understein receive first communion on April 9 from Father Heider at St. Veronica, a parish first.
1947
Archbishop John T. McNicholas decides to found a parish in the Mount Carmel Area. Donations come from St. Martin Parish in Cheviot ($10,000) and John Wargo of Pennsylvania ($6,000) to buy property and build a church. The church was initially to be named St. Patrick, but instead was named St. Veronica in memory of Mr. Wargo's mother.
1959
An addition to the church, a rectory was built. Father Joseph Wolfer becomes St. Veronica's first resident Pastor and serves until his transfer in 1961.
1953
The Rev. Joseph M. Wolfer, Pastor of St. John Fisher, Newtown, takes over Mass and Sacramental responsibilities at St. Veronica in July.
1951
The first wedding took place at St. Veronica Church on October 20 uniting the former Helen Merice and William Buchanan. St. Veronica Church was a satellite of St. Thomas More.
1950
The Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated for the first time at St. Veronica. The deceased was Michael Wiener, 84.
1979
An eight-classroom addition to the school is completed.
1976
St. Veronica School graduates its first eighth-grade class of 21 students in June.
1975
The school is dedicated on September 28. Paul DeFazio was the first principal and eight teachers were hired. There were 225 students enrolled.
1974
The Rev. Philip A. Kesting serves until his 1974 transfer.
1989
The Rev. Dennis J. Caylor is appointed St. Veronica Pastor. Reflecting widespread residential growth in Union Township, the parish continues to grow rapidly.
1985
Archbishop Daniel E. Pilarczyk dedicates St. Veronica's new Church building on September 20. Deacon William Krumm is assigned as the first deacon to the parish.
1982
The Rev. J. Paul Gruber is appointed Pastor in July.
1980
The Rev. Francis H. Niehaus is appointed Pastor and serves until 1982. Rev. Hans H. Gruenbauer joins the parish as Associate Pastor and serves until 1989.
1999
St. Veronica Parish celebrated its 50th Anniversary.
1998
The Rev. Michael Flaherty becomes St. Veronica Parish Pastor. Walter Srode was appointed permanent deacon to St. Veronica.
2009
Performing Arts Boosters & Families Helping Families Ministries created. St. Veronica Marketing Committee launched new website. Mrs. Gina Code becomes Principal.
2008
This is a big year for our Society of Seniors as they take trip to Ireland. In April, the new Cross & Corpus is installed. In May the St. Veronica School Board was established. We had our annual outdoor mass & picnic. We were saddened by the sudden death of long time teacher Sr.Teresa Mitchell. The parish collected over $20,000 for Haiti following a hurricane that tore through their country. Archbishop Dennis Schnurr became the coadjutor Archbishop to the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
2006
Haiti collection sent over 30 boxes of school supplies to our "sister school" St. Veronica in Haiti. Annie Jr. was the 1st play presented in the new Parish Center. The Young Adult Ministry, Shawl Ministry and G.R.O.W.S were formed. Bingo celebrates its 45th anniversary.
2005
Fr. Tom Hagan visited from Haiti and over $15,000 was collected. Deacon Dan Murphy was appointed to St. Veronica Parish. ISPD program was introduced.
2004
Fr. Frank Voellmecke assists with weekend masses. Our new Parish Center, Parish Offices & Classrooms were dedicated on August 22. Construction on our new building began on July 1 which included expansion of the current parish hall, additional parish offices, parish center (gym) and additional classrooms.
2002
The parish debt is paid off!
2000
Fr. Benedict O'Cinnsealaigh assists with weekend masses after Fr. Rick Marzhauser suddenly passed away.
2015
Carol Glaser joins staff to oversee data base of parishioner enrollment and assist with record retention of financial stewardship. Paige Umstead joins staff as Administrative Assistant for the Religious Education Program. Gerri Grassinger and Kay Kollsmith retire. Small Church Community development takes precedence in parish development of faith formation. School enrollment, 500 students.
2014
Bingo is discontinued, due to declining attendance. A fourth grade class is added to the school. Ms. Sharon Bresler becomes Principal. Emily Besl becomes RCIA Coordinator. Bill Frantz becomes Pastoral Associate.
2013
The Parish Offices move to the Ministry Center across the Street in April. The new Ministry Center is dedicated in April. Due to the expansion of the school, the computer lab is moved into the old Parish Office space and two classrooms will occupy the old computer lab. A third grade class is added. Paul Bresciani, our full-time parish Director of Music was hired.
2012
The school is expanding and added an additional Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade teacher. The construction of the new Ministry Center begins. Stewardship Commission & Faith Formation Commission are added to Parish Council leadership structure.
2011
Fr. Pat Crone assists the parish with weekend masses. A new parish photo directory is created. The revised Roman Missal is implemented across the United States.
2010
Fr. Michael T. Flaherty retires. Fr. Del Staigers appointed new Pastor on July 1, 2010. "Shepherd Groups" are formed under the direction of Parish Council to begin foundational work for a new parish plan.
